ADDCAPITAL continues a series of roundtables on Digital financial assets (DFA) at the Moscow Exchange.
On September 20, a regular meeting of the Working Group of Anticipatory Regulation Compliance for Digital Assets (ARC) was held on the Moscow Exchange under the chairmanship of Alexey Prokofiev, ADDCAPITAL managing partner. The topic of this meeting was: «European regulators in the DFA, digital liquidity mechanisms for venture funds and regulated instruments with the participation of the DFA.»
At the extended meeting, both regular participants of the Working Group, representatives of the Moscow Exchange, the National Settlement Depository, Sberbank, Alfa Bank, Group IB and AltHaus Group, and invited colleagues shared their opinion.
Special guests who actively participated in the discussion shared their experience and discussed the future of digital financial assets in Russia and the world, using the experience of their countries. The guest speakers at the round table on September 20 were: Luc Frieden, ex-Minister of Justice and Finance of Luxembourg, member of the Board of Directors of the Luxembourg Stock Exchange and Chairman of the Board of the largest bank of Luxembourg BIL (Banque Internationale a Luxembourg), Christoph van de Reck (President of NEM Foundation) , Rikiya Masuda (head of bitFlyer European division), Dominic Valskerts (member of the board of directors of the VNX Exchange), Alexander Tkachenko (founder of the VNX Exchange), Zin Yang (representative of Litecoin).
The round table on September 20 continued the series of events organized by AddCapital, which are quarterly held at the Moscow Exchange or major Russian banks together with representatives of the ARC Working Group. This meeting was reported. The participants of the Working Group shared the results achieved in addressing the regulation of the DFA in Russia, and expressed their opinion on the future direction of development of the group’s activities.
